By using this site and its tools, you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short, because the tools are free, run entirely in your browser, and collect nothing from you.
ToolLocker provides free, single-purpose web tools that run inside your web browser. No account is required. The tools are offered for your convenience, with no charge and no guarantee of continued availability — they may change or be withdrawn at any time.
You agree to use the tools only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to use. You must not:
The tools process your files locally in your browser; your files are never uploaded to or stored by us. You keep all rights to your own content, and you are solely responsible for it and for how you use the output.
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not guarantee that a tool will meet your needs, produce error-free output, or be available without interruption. You are responsible for checking the output before you rely on it — for print tools, print a short test first. See also the Disclaimer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools — including wasted paper or ink, misprinted output, lost time, or lost data. Because the tools are free and process everything on your own device, you use them at your own discretion and risk.
The site, its design, and its original code are the property of the site operator. The tools also use open-source libraries (pdf-lib and pdf.js) under their respective licenses. You may use the tools as intended, but you may not copy the site to pass it off as your own.
The tools rely on the open-source projects pdf-lib (MIT license) and pdf.js (Apache 2.0 license), which are served from this site. Their licenses govern those components.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's local jurisdiction. Any dispute will be handled under those laws. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed.
