A small, growing collection of free, single-purpose file tools that do one job well — and do it entirely in your browser.
Most online file tools ask you to upload your document to a server, sit through ads, or make an account for a task that should take ten seconds. ToolLocker takes the opposite approach: each tool is a single page that does one thing, loads fast, and processes your file locally using code that runs in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
It started with a simple, real problem — turning a PDF into a proper fold-and-staple booklet without wrestling with a print dialog or trusting an upload site. That became the first tool. The plan is to keep adding small, practical utilities in the same spirit: focused, free, and private.
The tools are plain, static web pages using the open-source libraries pdf-lib and pdf.js, hosted on Cloudflare. There is no backend and no database — which is exactly why your files can't be uploaded or stored. If you're curious, you can watch your browser's Network tab while using a tool and confirm nothing is sent.
